Borrow a book from our travelling libraryJul 21, 2021
Above is a video recording in 2020 ahead of our Inclusive Schools Reading event. It highlights an interview with Author Theresa Thorn about her inclusive children's book on gender identity.
Children are talking about gender.
They're talking about relationships.
This curiosity began long before they started elementary. Let us all include every child in the conversation and remove the mystery surrounding gender diversity.
Our travelling inclusion library has existed for a couple of years now. COVID caused it to collect some dust last year, but we're thrilled to be expanding it and getting back out there again!
Did you know, we can also facilitate a school story time virtual or in-person reading event at your child's school? Our library is full of books for children, youth and teens as well as parent resource materials.
Books can be borrowed individually. Our library is available for schools in Nova Scotia.
